I specialize in providing couples, individual adult, adolescent and child psychotherapy.

I received a BA in Psychology and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. After completing the required several thousand hours of clinical work with clients and supervision, I am credentialed as an LCSW-R.
I have a diverse background including work in psychology, business (particularly financial trading) and the creative arts.
My psychological experience goes back to the period in my life as I was completing college when I worked for an extended time at an in-patient psychiatric facility followed by work an in-patient drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic.
After that, I worked on Wall Street as a bond trader for a major investment banking firm. I worked on Wall Street while continuing to deepen and expand my interest in and knowledge in the field of psychology and psychotherapy.
I have also spent years as a visual artist with a focus on painting.
I am an avid reader and have participated in numerous conferences, panel discussions, seminars, retreats and courses that are centered on psychology, psychoanalysis, and psychotherapy. As a practitioner, my work with clients includes both insight-oriented and experiential approaches.
I utilize and integrate various psychotherapy traditions including:
Incorporation of techniques expounded by leaders in the field including Ester Perel, John and Judy Gottman and David Schnarsch, among others
As a fully licensed LCSW-R, the great majority of my clients benefit from very favorable reimbursement rates. Although I am not in-network, the out-of-network reimbursement rates that they receive compares very favorably to the payments that in-network provider insurance plans require.
In addition, depending on my client’s life and career circumstances, my clients and I have very frequently negotiated sliding scale and fair fee payment options that work for the client and myself.
